My Turn

Thanks for all the well-wishes for Maddux. He felt pretty craptastic through Tuesday, but when he woke up yesterday I knew instantly that he was feeling better. He's fever free and full of energy! Just in time because I would have had to have taken him back in to the ped if he still had a fever. I guess those antibiotics did their job just in time! He still has a nasty cough, but that's going to be there for awhile until his lungs clear up all the gunk.

I thought the whole time that I was going to catch the cold that started this all. I catch EVERY cold that Maddux gets. But it had been a few days and I was symptom free so I thought I had missed this one... wrong! Last night my throat started getting that tickly itch that means a cold is on it's way fast. This morning I am stuffy, sneezy, have a killer headache, and my throat hurts. I guess it just decided to wait and wollop me once I was done tending to Maddux. :)
