My first "Seven Things" week... I'm a little late at posting this, but my parents were here so I haven't been on the computer much. As much as they help with the kids you'd think I'd have more time to get to stuff I want to do, but that seems to not be the case for whatever reason, but anyway...
I emptied my closet of sweaters. There wasn't a one that I've worn in the 6 years I've been in Charlotte, and the majority hadn't been worn in the almost 10 years I've been in the south. I didn't count, but my guess is there were at least 15, if not closer to 20 sweaters. I definitely freed up a bunch of space in my closet! I'm going to take them to Goodwill sometime this week.
I also got rid of a bunch of other stuff, just by chance. My mom cleaned out my bedroom at her house and brought me all of it. It was 5 boxes of mostly junk. I kept some little childhood trinkets and all my yearbooks. I also kept the 1 box that was my great-grandmothers china that I've now inherited. Some of it was trash, but the grand majority I'm also going to take to Goodwill. So, I didn't exactly take stuff out of my house, but at least all those boxes didn't fully make it into the house. :)
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to only get rid of 7 things each week, but as I see it, if I'm in the process of decluttering an area of my house I'm not going to stop just because I've reached 7. I'd still have over half my sweaters if I did that!
Now I need to reorganize my closet to use all my newly found space!

Great news, 20 things gone from your home:)
I went to Goodwill on Saturday with the boys, and drop off three bags.
