The Little Balloons That Could

that could fly and fly and fly! We bought Ava some helium balloons for her birthday on the night of Jan 9th. We always have high-float added to the latex balloons so they'll last through all the birthday festivities... actual birthday, family birthday, birthday party, etc.

This year we got one mylar balloon and 4 latex ones. Over night one latex one dropped so we cut it off. After about a week we lost one more latex one. A week is about what's expected so it was no surprise and we expected the last 2 would be fading quickly. Not to be though.

Here we are 2 months later and just last night we lost the 3rd latex balloon and the 4th is starting to sag. 2 months! That's crazy! I guess I'll cut the 4th sagging balloon off and finally de-balloon Ava's chair at the table. I'll put the Tink mylar balloon in her room until it finally sinks.
