My friend, Jen, found out today that her baby, Kevin, passes away in utero. Baby Kevin had some problems and while it wasn't a surprise, it's still so very sad. It brings up some of my own pain from losing Mae. I'm so very glad that my experience can be of help to Jen though. I know the kinds of thoughts and emotions she is going through that might seem strange to people who haven't experienced this kind of loss. I'm just glad I can use my sadness to help her through hers.
Please keep Jen and her family in your thoughts.

It is amazing how our saddness can be of such comfort to others in their time of need. I sometimes have to remind myself of this.
