I need a pause button. A pause button for life, that is. I am so behind in everything. I have a stack of kids schoolwork that grows every week. My camera has at least a months worth of photos on it. I'm behind on laundry. I'm barely keeping up with the housecleaning. When I get this overwhelmed I end up shutting down and then even less gets done. It's a horrible cycle for me and I've never gotten this far behind before. I'm also trying to get headbands made for Misty's party next week. I'm way behind on those too.
Ugh. And since I have all these great events to blog about, but the pictures are still on the camera, I'm not blogging about them. One of these days I'll have to sit down and go through all photos and just do a big catch-up post.
I have no idea where my time goes and that sucks. I have 3 mornings a week with no kids and I still don't get anything done. I suck.

You DON'T suck. Come over and see my house and I have my MIL coming in 2 weeks. You're not alone and if you need any help with the headbands, call me this week and I can get Steve to watch the girls. I'll be glad to help whatever way I can. And again, you don't suck!
Oh Amy! I'm right there with you drowning in my "to do" list. Between the 3 kids (one who cries ALL the time) and all their activites, my bussiness and the housework something's gotta give. I had to pull out of the party commitee and Berewick Parents CLUB. I love them but just don't have the time to put my heart in it. I also had to back out of Misty's vendor show. Since this is my busy season I have two portrait sessions that day. Anyway I'm rambling now. I just want you to know I feel your pain :)

Sometimes our everyday lives get so overwhelming. A pause button is a great solution! Just sit back and enjoy your family!
Amy, you don't suck - but I can appreciate how you feel. It sounds like you give yourself a really hard time and I do the same. You should see my blog because I have a similiar post from a few weeks ago regarding feeling overwhelmed. I do the same thing, the more I have to do the LESS I do because I feel too overwhelmed. I really like what Elaine wrote; she made good points. :-)
Amy, I am in the EXACT same position as you! I'm just at the point where I think, Why clean, it's just going to be a big mess again by the end of the day.
