So, I looked into the "how many spaces after punctuation" thing I talked about in an earlier post. Seems it's not a new *rule* so much as it's simply considered appropriate to use only one space. The new MLA textbooks and such show all their examples with only one space. It is, however, still considered correct to use 2 spaces after your punctuation. As long as you are consistent with your spacing you are good to go! So whew, I will go back to 2 space typing. :)

I always use 2 spaces.....didn't know this was in dispute. I must be out of the loop in the punctuational world!
I'm a 2 spacer too! Good to know I'm doind it right!
Thank goodness! I don't think I could go to 1 space!
I think any of us who have had typing class over 10 years ago automatically use 2 spaces. I do and if they ever 'officially' change the rule, I will be breaking that rule all the time. Thanks for the clarification.
