Who Knew?

Did anyone know that "warty" pumpkins are rock hard! Maddux picked out a very "warty" pumpkin this year. We just went out to carve them and I could barely get the cutter into the skin and then it took me forever to cut about an inch of what would have been the lid. I gave up, afraid I would break the knife or cut myself. Good thing Maddux wasn't picky. He picked up a teeny tiny pumpkin of his and gave me that to carve instead.

And another "who knew" since I'm thinking about it. When you learned to type were you taught to skip 2 spaces at the end of a sentence? I was. Did you know that the proper way to type these days is to only skip one space? I've learned this, so I'm trying to teach myself this. Problem is, after typing for almost 20 years, it's quite engrained in my hands to skip 2 spaces. <>

I think your post was harder to read with you skipping only one space! I'd never heard of that before!

when you only skip one space on word it yells at you that it's a mistake! who exactly told you this? i am willing to join you in a movement to continue with two spaces because i am too lazy to learn anything new.
