Christmas is here!

Today has been a busy day. I've been baking and cooking in preparation for our christmas with Kevin's family tonight. His parents are here, and his sister and her family will be here soon. We're just doing appetizers and keeping it easy. All the kids are interested in is presents anyway.

His parents are giong to spend the night tonight and see the kids open Santa presents in the morning. Speaking of which... I still have to wrap them all. I decided a week or so ago that I was going to wait and wrap them all on christmas eve. The theory being that I wouldn't have to drag them all out twice. Now that it's actually christmas eve though, I wish I would have wrapped them earlier. Oh well, Kevin still has to put Maddux's bike together too.

The day after christmas we'll be heading to Ohio. It's been really snowy and icy there lately, so we're hoping for safe and easy travel. Friday is going to be rainy all the way up, but the temps will be above freezing so we should be ok. If it looks to be bad we'll change our plans and leave christmas day afternoon. I don't prefer to travel on christmas (though traffic is certainly light), but we have to shoot for the best weather.

Anyhoo... I'm really excited about tomorrow morning. Maddux is really excited this year for the first time and Ava is pretty excited too.
