Getting Ready

Christmas is sneaking up on me! I've felt like I have a whole week off with the kids until christmas comes around, when christmas is actually on Thursday. That also means I don't have all week to get the house in order, I have until Wednesday afternoon.

Today, I tackled the upstairs, the entire upstairs. Both bathrooms are shining, all 4 bedrooms are picked up, dusted and vacuumed. I washed my bed linens and had plans to do the kids, but there's are going to have to wait since my sheets and blankets usually take a couple dryer cycles to fully dry. I also finally got all the beach towels and extra towels and bedding put away after Maddux being sick last week. I kept it all washed, of course, but getting it all put away after everyone recovered was another story. I even vacuumed the stairs, which is something I don't get around to near as often as I should. It's so nice to walk upstairs with it all nice and tidy and smelling fresh and clean. Now if only the kids could keep their rooms nice and tidy!
