Here's my house....

We had our design center appt today. We picked out all the flooring, counters, paint, tile, and the outside vinyl and shutters. It was fun, and leaves me a bit anxious. It's hard for me to imagine full rooms of the stuff when all I had to go with was small samples... one cabinet door, a 6 inch block of granite, one tile, etc. Hopefully we did good. She said some of our choices were the same others had made so I'll take from that we did good. :)

This afternoon we drove to another Mercedes neighborhood that had our house in the same elevation we chose so we could see it "in real life". Turns out there was one that we're pretty sure made the same outside color choices as we did, pretty funny. So, here's what our house will look like...


Today also happens to be my birthday. Kevin says the house is my most expensive birthday gift ever. LOL He tried to say it covers all my future birthdays and all holidays too... but I don't think so. :)

After seeing the house we stopped by Springs Farms to do some strawberry picking. Here's me and my babies on my b-day picking, and eating, some perfectly huge strawberries.
